This year I felt myself praying wishing for an answer to my health problems…. After 3.5 years my wish came true!
One night can change your entire life. On July 14th of 2017 I chose to start the birth control pill. Throughout the night I woke up sweating, numb, tingling, anxious, my neck and head throbbing. These symptoms have been my leaches trying to drain all my strength and faith everyday for three and a half years.
The only way to fight off these leaches is to cling to God drawing closer to Him.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
Psalm 46:1-3
I felt like a guinea pig. The doctors thought it was just a migraine. MRI and CT Scans showed nothing. I tried several different pills and doses. All of which I told them I had to stop because my symptoms were worse and I literally felt dumb.
The brain fog was INTENSE! I strive to give my children a normal life never letting the pain get the best of me. I can not be helpless when I have four children relying on me! My husband has been amazing support, with me every step of the way. I knew they all loved and needed me, giving me the spark to stay motivated and moving. Even though they mean the world to me my strength comes from the one who gave them to me.
My main focus was God. Through prayer I would hear Him say, “My child I am with you.” I felt peace in knowing I was in my Father’s hands.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
No matter what you are going through, no matter how much pain you are in, DO NOT LET THE EVIL VOICE OF DOUBT AND ANXIETY IN YOUR HEAD TAKE OVER YOU! You are a child of God and He is always there for you. Talk to Him, vent to Him, and cling to Him; growing closer to Him and deepening your beautiful relationship with Him. You will be amazed at the strength and hope He can give you.
Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His presence continually!
1 Chronicles 16:11
He gives His toughest battles to those He knows can handle it. (Attached is one song I would jam to giving me peace. “He Said” by Group 1 Crew). My battle is far from over, but after three and half years I now have the upper hand!
Daily chronic pain, headache, tingling, fatigue, and weakness was on the winning side. However, we now have the classified information to turn this battle around! The Lord has provided us with an answer of the underlying cause to all these problems.
I did an extensive blood test, at an allergist, resulting in autoimmune disease (leaky gut). My liver and guts are not processing things properly causing junk to get into my blood stream. The junk causes cells to be inflamed damaging the neurons and neurotransmitters. This also has resulted to malnourishment and my immune system to have low white blood cells acting it self.
We are very thankful to have an answer as to what happened after our third child was born. The birth control pill I tried, was just the tipping block. My liver could not process it properly causing a severe reaction. The next step is an extensive diet to do a cleanse and more testing to figure out what form of autoimmune disease. Good health is an amazing gift from the Lord this holiday season 🙏
