Mom Fail of the Week

Apparently my two year old was tired of me writing about her potty training and decided to have some fun with my stuff in my bathroom… She does have very good fine motor skills hahaha…

Please share your mom fail of the week or funny story! We’d love to hear it!

Mom Fail of the Week

Well I am sorry for my constant theme these past few weeks, but whether it is a child or an animal potty training can be very difficult!

We went diaperless with my two year last week at home. When making dinner she was so excited she peed in the toilet, I quickly dumped and rinsed her potty toilet bowl and rushed to stir the food so it did not burn.

I turn around to head back to the bathroom to disinfect her toilet and out comes my two year old saying, “look at my hat!” Her hat was her potty toilet bowl 🤦🤢 Bath time it was!

Please share any hilarious mom fails of the week! We’d love to read them!

Mom Fail of the Week

As a mom never underestimate your children… My two year old pooped in the bath tub yesterday!!! Just when I think we are getting closer to being diaperless I am proven wrong. Apparently diapers are a lot more comfortable than I thought haha…

Please share your fail of the weeks, we’d love read them!!!

Trials

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

– James 1:2-3

The Oxford Dictionary defines perseverance as, “persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.” As moms we are faced with many trials how we handle these trials shapes how our children will handle theirs. Our children our constantly watching us and listening. Like a sponge they absorb everything around them good or bad.

We tell our children to think about their actions before doing them. We as parents need to do the same. Give our frustrations to God! We should vent and pray to Him first; before responding to our trials out loud. In Him we will find the strength we need to persevere through our trials.

Potty Training… Do I need to say more?

*Laughing*

I forgot to put a diaper on my two year old before we went to town and of course she peed in her car seat.

Please share your mom fail of the week along with any potty training advice you may have!!!!

Mom Fail of the Week

My mom fail of the week would be rushing…

Today after our homeschool co-op group I was rushing to leave. I kept rushing the kids to the car when I stopped and noticed the smile on my son’s face. He was loving splashing in the puddle. I took a deep breath and knew I needed to let him enjoy the moment. If we are constantly rushing around we will not get to enjoy the little things!

Please comment your mom fails of the week! We’d love to hear them!

Mom Fail of the Week

So we all know how hard potty training can be for some kids and how easy it is for others…. Apparently my children decided to try a new technique…

The trees…

I look outside and my two year old daughter, who refuses to use the toilet, is peeing by a tree while standing up like her brother is by another tree. Looks like I need to put a tree in my bathroom instead of a toilet. Hahahaha…. Please share you mom fail of the week or funny mom moments!

Football

Are you ready for some football?

Are you ready to worship God?

Which question caught your attention more? Football is a huge part of our culture. It is also a great opportunity to bond with family; relaxing, sitting around together, chatting, and rooting for your team. There is nothing wrong with this at all.

The danger comes in false worship. Who do we praise more our football team our God?

“You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God.”

– Exodus 20:3-5

The Lord warns us all throughout the Bible the dangers of having false gods before him. Anything we may worship other than Him is a false idol. We may not even notice we are doing it. It is so easy to get wrapped up in the world around us, living for the next football game or our favorite movie coming out. When we drive our car down the road we watch for warning signs to keep us safe from; deer crossing, road construction, bump ahead, etc.

The Bible is our warning sign making sure we do not place any false idols before God. It is important for us to live in the world, not of the world. This week it is okay to be excited to watch football or your favorite show, but make sure this does not take precedence over your time with God whether in prayer, worship, church, or devotional.

Here are some warning signs God gives us throughout the Bible:

“Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.”

– 1 Corinthians 10:14

“Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.”

– 1 John 5:21

“Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them.

– Jonah 2:8

“All who make idols are nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless. Those who would speak up for them are blind; they are ignorant, to their own shame.”

– Isaiah 44:9

Mom Fail of the Week

When you let your two year old daughter wear her sister’s old leotard she found and she thinks she is going to dance class too…. Her fit on the ground turns around to a dance class of her own hahaha….

Please share your mom fails of the week!!!

Mom Fail of the Week

My mom fail of the week is letting my stress get the best of my emotions and losing my temper. Something I know I struggle with. No one ever said having children is easy. Just like us they struggle to control their emotions. However, the more we are able to control our emotions the better we will be able to help them control theirs.

So going through the week like…
